Spain's Congress of Deputies on Thursday approved a bill that would legalize abortion up to 14 weeks' gestation, assert a woman's right to undergo the procedure and remove an existing threat of imprisonment for women who have an abortion outside of specific circumstances, the AP/Google News reports. The 350-member Congress of Deputies voted 184-158 in favor of the bill, with one abstention.
