After three weeks of negotiations, Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao made it official this morning, agreeing to fight in a 12-round non-title bout Dec. 6 in what's expected to be a blockbuster pay-per-view event at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The former light-heavyweight champion faces two felony counts and four misdemeanor counts in a car chase last month in which he allegedly fled from police and hit several cars in Costa Mesa. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, a former light-heavyweight champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, was charged Monday with reckless driving, evading arrest and hit-and-run driving in a destructive car chase from Costa Mesa to Newport Beach last month, prosecutors said.
